During the year 2022, the CEO of ZKTeco Chile, Gustavo Maluenda, said that it is essential to be a contribution with solutions and tools for the control, evaluation and projection of risks that allow a safe operation in a business area so relevant to the national economy and said, “unlike mining and the characteristics of the element, hydrogen, has to be stored in safe, restricted places, where not anyone can enter, where it is stored and where the production chain corresponds, not just anyone can enter that place, as it happens with food plants, with packaging plants and with biosafety levels in their processes with access control systems are essential” Under this premise and with the necessary experience, is that the Asian company will be part of Hyvolution, the international reference exhibition of the green hydrogen industry, energy and mobility, which will be held for the first time in Chile between June 28 and 29, 2023 at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention Center. The meeting aims to connect the value chain of the entire region, starting with the generation and ending with the export of green hydrogen, through storage, transportation, logistics, financing, suppliers, among other relevant actors. “Green hydrogen is considered a clean energy source and a potential alternative to reduce carbon emissions in various sectors, such as transportation and industry. In Chile, there is a growing interest in the development of green hydrogen projects due to its potential to boost the energy transition and promote sustainability, and we want to be part of its development through our technology,” said ZKTeco CEO Rodrigo Valenzuela, CEO of ZKTeco. Rodrigo Valenzuela, Manager of Hyvolution Chile, highlighted that “our country has a great and unique potential at a global level to produce H2V at a reduced value, being among the cheapest in the world. In addition to this, there is a great interest from international companies that are looking to generate business not only with our country, but also with local suppliers, so the time for green hydrogen is now. In this line, Hyvolution Chile aims to become the commercial platform that will commercially connect Europe and Latin America in the world of green hydrogen, being today Chile the meeting point”. The event organized by FISA, in collaboration with the Chilean Hydrogen Association (H2 Chile), will present, in parallel to the fair, a congress in which more than 40 speakers from the public and private sector, being referents of the industry, will address in conferences and lectures the most relevant issues for the sector, discussing for example: the strategies required to achieve an energy transition that allows a proper balance between productive development and environmental protection.
