We started 100 years ago as a family business and today, from our headquarters in Alleur, Belgium, we export around 95% of our production. We have a network of sales and distributors on all continents. In addition, we work in cooperation with the world’s leading industrial gas producers.
Our history begins in the 1920s with the manufacture of wireless radios. Now we have evolved into a completely new field of technology and innovation. For almost 30 years, our company was involved in the wireless business, but this declined in the early 1950s when transistor radios imported from the United States closed the curtain on the company’s wireless activities.
We then began to produce devices to measure the impurities in the argon used for welding. These chromatographs were equipped with a detector using high-frequency discharges for use in steel plants in the Liège region of Belgium.
Our product range grew to include new high-purity detectors for industrial and laboratory applications. We played a pioneering role in this field, and then further expanded our product range and developed in-house analytical software and our own engineering department, among others.
