As she has said in several interviews, Gloria Maldonado firmly believes in a green hydrogen industry with environmental responsibility, with commitment to the region and its people. “What I am passionate about is developing technological knowledge from Chile, because I believe that this is the way out of underdevelopment”, said the executive, a mentor of various organizations and a recognized business leader. This drive has led the chairman of ENAP’s board to participate in different forums and to promote the country’s challenges in this area. Her presence in France to participate in a new version of Hyvolution Paris, the main green hydrogen fair in Europe, has therefore been highlighted and was praised by the Chilean business delegation that traveled to establish ties and consolidate Chile’s image and strategy as a hydrogen supplier. “Today I was at the Hyvolution Paris World Fair, with a really amazing attendance for this nascent green hydrogen industry,” posted Maldonado, who is the brand new president of the Hyvolution Chile congress, whose second edition will be held September 3-5, 2024 at Metropolitan Santiago. “We had a lot of interest, interviews from various specialized media and meetings. I was also able to see how the #H2V applications and uses industry is advancing on a global level. Now to prepare Hyvolution Chile in September 2024!!!”, added the executive in a celebrated post on her LinkedIn account, and in which she also thanked other actors who collaborated in the organization of the tour. “Thanks to the excellent efforts of the teams of ProChile France, InvestChile and the Chilean Embassy in France, I was able to disseminate to the world, ENAP’s initiatives in the #RegiondeMagallanes, to promote the development of the #H2V industry, through shared infrastructure with a strong focus on environmental sustainability”, closed Gloria Maldonado, who, in statements to the newspaper La Tercera, celebrated the instance. “Participating in Hyvolution Paris 2024, one of the most relevant world events on green hydrogen, which annually brings together the supply and demand of the sector, is a significant event for us as a state-owned company, because it is aligned with our foundational role of contributing to the strategic development of the country and its energy security,” she said.
