Santiago, September 2. – It is the most relevant event of the green hydrogen industry in the region and is consolidated as a unique showcase for the energy and mobility industries. Hyvolution Chile 2024 will be held from September 3 to 5 at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center in Vitacura, and will have many new features.

Organized by Fisa of the GL events group and H2 Chile, the meeting will feature an exhibition area in which more than 95 companies will present their latest innovations in energy and hydrogen-related solutions, while the international congress will have 13 panels with more than 90 panelists reflecting on various industry topics.

During the fair, companies will take advantage of this space to present their new technologies and products. Among the most anticipated launches is the first green hydrogen truck in Chile, presented by Walmart Chile and Marval Clean Logistics, designed to supply goods to supermarkets between the regions of Coquimbo and Biobío, using a pioneering technology, zero emissions and low noise level.

In addition, attendees will be able to learn about a hydrogen-based electric generator, which stands out for its energy efficiency of over 50% and emission-free operation, as well as hydrogen bicycles with a range of 145 km and recharging in just 2 minutes, which will be available for use during the days of the fair.

The international congress, which in its previous edition attracted a large audience, will seek to repeat the success with a program that includes 13 panels and more than 90 speakers from countries such as France, Norway, Peru, Spain, Finland, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Italy. This year, these spaces will address key issues such as project development in Chile, strategic infrastructure, green hydrogen exports, financing, and human capital development. In addition, the Congress will have a female participation of 28%, which has earned the recognition of the seal “Women add” awarded by the Ministry of Energy.

Multiple activities

Tuesday will begin at 9 o’clock in the morning with the first panel of the Hyvolution Congress entitled “Strategies for making Chile’s competitiveness a reality”, with an introduction by the minister of energy, Diego Pardow. The panel will include the chairwoman of the board of ENAP and CorreosChile, Gloria Maldonado; the executive vice-president of Corfo, José Miguel Benavente; Marcos Kulka, executive director of H2 Chile and Bernardo Larraín, vice-president of the board of Colbun S.A., the main sponsor of the fair.

At 10:00 a.m., the Chile-France ceremony will be held prior to the inauguration, where the Minister of Energy, Diego Pardow, and the Ambassador of France in Chile, Cyrille Rogeau, will sign a collaboration agreement to promote cooperation in technical and professional training in the green hydrogen industry in Chile.
Finally, the opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday, September 3 at 11:00 a.m. and will be attended by prominent authorities, including ministers and senior executives from the private sector.
The exhibition will also offer technical talks given by companies and institutions such as the Royal Netherlands Embassy, RMC Corporate, BruckHard Compression, ABB, Teknica and Casale, which will be held in the Agora, located on the second floor of Metropolitan.

H2 Grand Prix 2024 Finals

This year Hyvolution Chile will host the H2 Grand Prix races, the hydrogen-powered scale car competition organized by the SOFOFA Educational Corporation. This race will have more than 15 teams formed by students from different educational establishments, and the winners will represent Chile in the world final in California, United States.

Green Hydrogen Night

On Wednesday, September 4 from 18:30 hours will be held the networking event called the Green Hydrogen Night, an instance designed for interaction, in a relaxed context, between professionals from energy companies, technology providers, and public and private authorities.
