Hyvolution Chile will be official sponsor of the Expomin 2025 Congress

Hyvolution Chile will also sponsor the Green Hydrogen Panel, which will include different relevant industry players to address how this energy source can be crucial in the decarbonization of global mining.

Within the framework of Expomin 2025 and its International Congress, Hyvolution Chile was confirmed as the official sponsor of the fair, thus consolidating its relevance as an exhibition space for technology and innovation of products and services in the energy, industry and mobility sector. In addition to its role as a sponsor at the Congress, Hyvolution Chile will also sponsor a panel entirely dedicated to the role that green hydrogen could play in the future of the industry. The name? “Green hydrogen in the decarbonization of global mining”, a space that will bring together different industry leaders to address how this renewable energy source can be crucial in the decarbonization of global mining. María de los Ángeles Troncoso, commercial manager of Hyvolution Chile, valued the presence of the exhibition at Expomin 2025, mentioning that “at Hyvolution Chile we reaffirm our commitment to innovation and sustainability by sponsoring the XVIII International Congress of Expomin 2025, the most important mining event in Latin America. In addition, through the green hydrogen panel, we seek to promote the decarbonization of mining, thus contributing to a cleaner and more responsible energy future”. The panel will feature Max Correa, Latam director of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), who will be the keynote speaker. In his intervention, he will offer a vision on how green hydrogen can be transcendental to reduce carbon emissions in the mining sector. Correa’s talk will be joined by other expert voices, who will share their knowledge and perspectives on the future of clean energy in mining: -Marcela Angulo, director of the Santiago branch of the University of Concepción (Udec), will address the impact of scientific and technological innovation on the adoption of green hydrogen in mining. -Juan Andrés Camus, director of the Energía Verde Austral Project of EDF Chile, will present the progress and ongoing projects on green hydrogen in Chile. -Gonzalo Moyano, CEO of MAE, will discuss the business opportunities offered by green hydrogen, as well as its challenges and advantages for the mining industry. -Ana Maria Ruz, director of Corfo’s Green Hydrogen Committee, will speak about public policies and government initiatives that are driving the development of this renewable energy source in Chile. -Daniel Camac, from H2Peru, will share his country’s experience in the implementation of green hydrogen projects, highlighting the opportunities and challenges in the region. The panel will be moderated by Marcos Kulka, executive director of H2Chile, who will lead the discussion on the policies, projects and technologies that are setting the pace in the transition to more sustainable mining.
