The third international exhibition and congress of the green hydrogen world in Chile, Hyvolution, is getting closer and closer. For three days – September 2, 3 and 4 – industry players and decision makers will meet at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center to connect, promote new investment opportunities and discuss the future of green hydrogen in the country.

Discussions that matter

The panels will address a wide range of topics related to the industry, from value creation and competitiveness of the country in H2 to the risks and opportunities of this energy in a context of energy transition. In addition, a presentation on Chile’s competitiveness with the main keys for the consolidation of the industry is also scheduled.

In this sense, one of the most anticipated panels is entitled Chile on the move: Proposals to accelerate growth from the trade perspective, in which important representatives of the H2 value chain are expected to develop their ideas for the development of the country, hand in hand with the energy transition.

Another panel that stands out in the list is one on economic incentives and financing for the production and use of green hydrogen and derivatives, in which aspects such as international auctions for the promotion of the global industry, existing opportunities for Chilean developers, long-term contracts and pricing mechanisms will be discussed.

In this year of presidential elections in Chile, visitors to the fair will be able to learn about the views of each candidate for office and their commitment to this energy in a presentation that will analyze the presence of green hydrogen in their government programs. Another relevant conversation in the field of government deals with the regulatory dimensions of green hydrogen, covering the challenges to enable commercial-scale projects in the country.

Side events

Three side events are scheduled for the Hyvolution 2025 summit. The first of these is aimed at highlighting the participation of women in the green hydrogen industry, with the presence of representatives of the Chilean Ministry of Energy, the Superintendence of Electricity and Fuel, the Women in Green Hydrogen association and EY Chile.

The second of these events will be in charge of the Chilean Navy: Energy and defense for the sea of the future. This event is aligned with the contents of the panels Green hydrogen in aviation and maritime transport and geopolitics of green hydrogen. It is a key opportunity to learn a strategic vision of the development and implementation of this energy in the country, with the opinion of experts from the institution and other guests.

Finally, the third side event is expected to bring together Latin America’s leading green hydrogen trade associations, with guests from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. This regional meeting aims to bring together regional perspectives on industry growth and opportunities on a global scale.
