The Minister of Energy and Honorary President of Hyvolution Chile 2025 is in Japan together with key authorities and representatives from the sector, as well as a delegation of students from the H2 Grand Prix project.
Yesterday, through its social media channels, the Chilean Ministry of Energy officially announced the presence of Diego Pardow, head of the ministry and honorary president of Hyvolution Chile 2025, at the opening of Clean Energy and Green Hydrogen Week in the Chilean pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan.
The exhibition, which has already been visited by more than 10 million people since its opening in May, will host this activity, which aims to position the country as a key player in the global energy transition through a display highlighting local advances in clean energy and the slogan ‘If it’s green hydrogen, the world starts with Chile.’
According to Diario Financiero, this proposal includes an audiovisual tour featuring images of the Antofagasta and Magallanes regions, strategic areas for national energy development. It also showcases testimonials from men and women at the forefront of this change from academia, industry, and the territories.
The ceremony was attended by the regional governors of Antofagasta and Magallanes, Ricardo Díaz and Jorge Flies, respectively; representatives of the Chilean Association of Renewable Energy and Storage (ACERA); the National Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (Anesco); and the Chilean Solar Energy Association (Acesol).
In addition, representatives from H2 Chile and a delegation of students from the H2 Grand Prix project were present. The competition will take place during Hyvolution Chile 2025, between 2 and 4 September. Buy your tickets here.
