The advancement of green hydrogen opens up significant opportunities for Chile, but also presents new challenges in areas such as process safety, storage, transportation, facility operation, and the training of personnel who will be part of its value chain. In this context, prevention becomes a key factor in ensuring sustainable and competitive development.
ACHS’s participation in Hyvolution Chile 2026 is part of its commitment to supporting organizations in the face of new risks and transformations in the world of work.

Hyvolution Chile 2026 will bring together companies, specialists, and stakeholders involved in the development of green hydrogen and the energy transition in Santiago from September 1st to 3rd.
The Chilean Safety Association (ACHS) will also play a role in the event’s programming. Rodrigo De la Calle, Divisional Manager of Prevention and Business Development at ACHS, will participate in the panel “Green Ammonia: An Engine for the Energy Transition and a Sustainable Alternative for Various Sectors”, which will address the opportunities and challenges associated with the development of this energy sector.
In addition to this participation, Nick Barilo, Director of the U.S. Center for Hydrogen Safety, will also be present. Barilo is a special guest of ACHS and will also be a panelist at Hyvolution Chile 2026. His participation will bring international experience and specialized knowledge in hydrogen safety, strengthening the technical discussion on the standards necessary for the safe development of this emerging industry.
