Tomás Godoy, Strategic Account Manager at Endress+Hauser, explained that the company’s participation will focus on technologies that address three fundamental pillars for the correct measurement of hydrogen operations: quantity, quality and composition. “In Hyvolution Chile 2024 we will present a portfolio that allows to ensure an operation with optimal and safe performance. Endress+Hauser is in all types of hydrogen projects, providing technology and solutions to deliver measurements of composition, quality and quantity in critical areas for a successful and sustainable execution in the value chain,” said the executive. Tomas Godoy added that “if they participate in the green hydrogen value chain at any stage of the process, customers will at some point have to perform measurements, and that is when we can help them. We invite the attendees of Hyvolution Chile 2024 to come to our stand, because they will be surprised”. In addition, the executive indicated that Endress+Hauser can make a difference in customers’ operations. “Our company has the highest standards of measurement accuracy, with certified standards and traceability. We are prepared to supply measurement systems with the highest standards which translates into more profitable business for our customers.” In this aspect, the development of the concept of legal metrology is of importance, where Endress+Hauser can contribute significantly. The professional added that this is an area little explored in our country, and that with this new industry the opportunity opens up for it to develop as something relevant and enabling for international trade. “In Chile, there is a great opportunity to develop the so-called ‘science of measuring and billing’ not only at a theoretical level, but in applications that involve commercial transactions or billing. Although at the international level there are rules and regulations, at present we are not obliged to follow them for domestic transactions,” said Godoy. On the other hand, the executive urges participants to learn about the company’s portfolio of solutions for ammonia measurement. In this regard, the company in Chile has years of experience in accurate and safe measurements, which makes the difference. “Regardless of what stage of project development you are in, we invite you to talk to us. We can collaborate in preliminary stages, both in safety aspects or technology selection, as well as in more advanced stages in measurements for process control or energy efficiency. Our company has adequate solutions and qualified workers in instrumentation for the hydrogen industry, reinforcing our commitment to the energy transition,” said Tomás Godoy.
