Hyvolution Chile 2026 announced that Energy Minister Ximena Rincón will be the honorary president of its fourth edition, which will take place from September 1st to 3rd at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention Center.
Organized by FISA, part of the GL events Chile Group, and co-organized by the Chilean Hydrogen Association, H2 Chile, the event will bring together companies, institutions, technology developers, suppliers, investors, and public stakeholders to address the green hydrogen value chain, from its generation and storage to its industrial, logistics, energy, and mobility applications.
Minister Rincón’s appointment comes at a crucial time for the industry, as the conversation shifts from focusing solely on Chile’s potential to addressing the necessary conditions for realizing projects: permits, infrastructure, financing, industrial demand, and public-private partnerships.
“Chile has exceptional conditions for advancing the development of green hydrogen and clean energy, but the challenge today is to boost the sector’s competitiveness so that this can be transformed into concrete and sustainable projects, in line with the country’s needs. Hyvolution Chile will be a key space to bring together industry, the public sector, academia, and local communities around a necessary conversation for Chile’s energy future”, said Ximena Rincón.
Hyvolution was founded in Paris almost ten years ago and has established itself as one of the world’s most important trade fairs focused on hydrogen and its applications. In Chile, the event aims to contribute to the regional conversation on innovation, energy transition, and new models of industrial development.
“Having Minister Ximena Rincón as honorary president is an important sign for this edition. Her leadership will strengthen an agenda that directly addresses the technological, regulatory, production, and territorial challenges that will shape the growth of this industry in Chile and the region”, said Francisco Sotomayor, CEO of GL events Chile.
The Hyvolution Chile 2026 Congress features fourteen panels addressing the main challenges and opportunities in the energy sector, from value creation and the country’s competitiveness in green hydrogen to the enabling conditions for advancing the energy transition.
In this edition, Mejillones Ammonia Energy (MAE) will be the main sponsor of the event, reinforcing the meeting’s connection with strategic projects for the development of new industries associated with green hydrogen, green ammonia, and clean technologies.
For the third consecutive year, Hyvolution Chile and Metropolitan Santiago will host the final of the H2 Grand Prix Chile, an initiative aimed at high school students who design, build, and compete with hydrogen-powered radio-controlled cars. The program seeks to connect young talent with hands-on learning about renewable energy and innovation.
In this way, Hyvolution Chile 2026 will bring together industry, the public sector, academia, and the next generation to discuss the challenges of the energy transition and the sustainable development of Chile and the region.
