Santiago, June 20 – Hyvolution, the main congress of the green hydrogen industry in Europe arrives in Chile and will have among its exhibitors Power Train Technologies. Power Train Technologies, in Chile for 25 years, is a company dedicated to the service and remanufacturing of earthmoving components in mining. It has been developing new ways and processes focused on the circular economy, in order to drastically reduce the carbon footprint. This has positioned it in a strategic place between hydrogen itself and its adaptation in the industry. Proof of this has been the realization of real dynamometer tests of the adaptation of mining engines, and thus achieve the substitution of diesel by gas by 70 %. The Engineering and Development (R&D) department, approved by CORFO, has been a fundamental area within the company for research. In addition, Power Train Technologies has different agreements with Universities, and allows its students to interact actively in these investigations and add knowledge, experiences and new challenges, key to contribute to the future development of the country.
