The H2 Grand Prix Chile returns to Hyvolution Chile, the leading hydrogen fair, to be held September 2-4 at Metropolitan Santiago. This innovative competition pits hydrogen-powered scale vehicles, designed and driven by students, against each other in a fun-filled experience.

Carola Fuentes, general manager of Fisa, values the presence of this activity in the most important event of green hydrogen in Chile.

“We are very happy to have again the H2 Grand Prix in Hyvolution Chile 2025. This competition represents a great opportunity for young people to get involved with innovation and the use of green hydrogen, encouraging creativity in a key area for the future.”

In the previous edition of Hyvolution Chile, the Grand Prix captivated attendees with its exhibition. The race track, set up in a sector of the event center, was the stage where the participants of the program organized by the SOFOFA Corporation demonstrated their talent. The students piloted remote control cars that they designed and built themselves, all powered by green hydrogen, highlighting the innovation around this clean energy source.

Carolina Domínguez, responsible for the EMTP articulation with renewable energies and H2V of SOFOFA, refers to the activity assuring that “we developed the final competition in the largest congress that Chile has to represent the H2V ecosystem in our country. This alliance determines the relevance of incorporating the look at the technical human capital that the entire value chain associated”.

Looking ahead to Hyvolution Chile 2025, the H2 Grand Prix will be present again, promising challenges and emotions for the teams that will participate in this version. Attendees will once again be able to enjoy this unique experience, where engineering and sustainability come together in a vibrant competition.

Because of this, Carolina Dominguez projects the H2 Grand Prix at Hyvolution 2025.

“It marks a milestone worldwide by including youth, especially if we want to have a professionalization strategy in our country. The first edition was a success and we expect this 2025 to be even better. We have a new track, new teams, from Technical High Schools in Yerbas Buenas, La Unión, Mulchén, Mejillones, Puerto Natales, among others, that will change the lives of these young people”.
