From 2 to 4 September 2025, Santiago will host Hyvolution, Chile’s most important trade fair for the global energy transition, bringing together exhibitors, experts and institutions committed to the development of hydrogen and clean energy.
Techint Engineering and Construction will have a stand (No. 112) where it will showcase the projects it is developing globally in various market segments. In addition, on 3 September at 5 p.m., Nahuel Micone, the company’s Energy Transition Manager, will participate as a speaker on panel: ‘Green hydrogen: Research, development and technological innovation for a low-carbon economy’.
“Participating in Hyvolution 2025 allows us to share our experience in large infrastructure and energy projects, while learning from the innovations that are shaping the hydrogen economy. It is an opportunity to strengthen alliances and continue promoting solutions that accelerate the transition towards a decarbonisation strategy,” said Nahuel Micone.
Techint E&C’s presence at Hyvolution reinforces its track record in the country: with more than 75 years of presence in Chile, the company has executed large engineering and construction projects, backed by engineering centres, logistics infrastructure and machine parks, as well as solid experience in energy transition.
In the field of energy and decarbonisation, Techint E&C has developed:
• Design of a renewable energy plant with a capacity equivalent to 775 MW, including wind farms and photovoltaic parks.
• Engineering and construction of desalinated water supply systems, including desalination plants, marine works, and collection and pumping systems for various mining operations in northern Chile.
• More than 40 engineering projects related to renewable energy, hydrogen, e-fuels, biofuels and CCUS (carbon capture, utilisation and storage).
• The engineering of a biomass plant in Argentina.
• Four FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) projects for green hydrogen, carbon capture from biomass, e-methanol, and e-gasoline.
• An EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management) project for the construction of a solar panel manufacturing plant in Italy.
• Two wind farms built in Argentina.
With a combination of technical capabilities, international experience and a firm commitment to energy transition, Techint E&C is positioned as a key player in the development of large-scale sustainable solutions.
