Hyvolution 2023, the largest international exhibition and congress to be held from June 28-30, 2023, at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center, located in the Vitacura district of Santiago, is already under development. The exhibition, which has become the most important green hydrogen event in Europe, comes to Chile to bring together the entire value chain in the region. This April, the first meeting of the executive committee of Hyvolution Chile 2023 was held, where actors in the world of green hydrogen discussed and defined the main guidelines that the meeting will have, analyzing the issues of greatest interest today and the objectives presented by the industry. The meeting, which was led by Rodrigo Lobo, Deputy General Manager of FISA and Rodrigo Valenzuela, Manager of Hyvolution Chile, was attended by Marcos Kulka, Executive Director of H2 Chile, María Ignacia Carrillo of H2 Chile; Juan Pablo Purcell, investment promotion officer at Invest Chile; Valentina Vargas, ProChile Sustainability professional; Federico Bernardelli, Representative of the Ministry of Energy; Marie-Aude de Saint Charles, General Manager Cámara Franco Chilena; and Javier Ortiz, Promoting Hydrogen Projects in Latin America, GIZ (German Chamber of Commerce). In the instance, Rodrigo Valenzuela, Manager of Hyvolution Chile, highlighted the formation of this committee, noting that “this meeting is oriented to the world of hydrogen and therefore we will work together with the sector. This committee will work to generate a positive synergy in all that is thematic, activities and events that will happen during the three days of exhibition. Similarly, Marcos Kulka, Executive Director of H2 Chile, co-organizing association with FISA for the organization of the fair, stressed the importance of this meeting and Hyvolution, indicating that “this requires multiple actors to finally bring together not only the business world and industry, but also the public world and academia, which is important for the dissemination of what is hydrogen. Therefore, it has been an interesting committee to complete the visions from the different actors, so that this event, which is very important for the green hydrogen industry, is successful”. Regarding the realization of this fair, Kulka highlighted the importance of the meeting, mentioning that “Hyvolution Chile is connected to a very important fair worldwide as Hyvolution France, which has the opportunity to show in situ and tangible equipment and engineering that is being done around the industry. What we want today is to complement it with seminars, so that it also has content and networking generation between the different actors”.
